Interior Design & Product Design

3DStool, presented at Salone del Mobile 2014, is a chair made with a desktop 3D printer. An experimental project: objects composed of small elements that are 3D printed and then assembled to give anyone with a 3D printer the opportunity to produce, even at home, an entire piece of designer furniture!

Project Details.

Since it is a modular object, 3DStool can be transformed into a small table or even a bench. It is composed of small elements, the largest one in fact measuring 12x12x8cm. to further facilitate the 3D printing process. Joints and special hooks allow the elements to be assembled without the addition of glues.
3DStool can be printed in its original version of 40x40x42 cm. or by varying its height, width or depth. It also remains at the user’s discretion to choose the hue, which depends on the ABS filament used.
