The volumes are very simple and essential. The main finishes are oak wood parquet, wooden structures painted in white, and metal structures painted in black. Lots of glass, which allows to maintain eye contact and have more light always having the possibility to glimpse all 4 windows in view, and many mirrors (also used as a door in the kitchen) that create games of perspective and enlarge the spaces. Viennese straw to cover the niches that allows glimpses and at the same time maintains the sense of depth by recovering additional storage spaces.
The mezzanines are like two opposites that, however, combine harmoniously. One in metal, painted black, thin, with a very minimal staircase; the other in wood, painted white, thicker and with more traditional steps. White is also reprised in the color of the walls, in the velvet curtains and in the colors of the nursery. In the bedroom, white is juxtaposed with tones of forest green and olive green, and then transitions to black in the linen, cotton, metal profiles of the glass, mirror and doors. Black completely covers the fenix kitchen. Then it is also repeated in the living room on the Scacchi tables/poufs by Mario Bellini.
Amidst the black and white we find the color of the parquet floor, the velvet sofa and the essential shaped armchairs with
black metal elements. The warmest tone is provided by the brass of the lamps, whether wall sconces or pendant lamps. Lighting defines numerous scenarios and combinations: neutral covering wallwasher light from the windows that almost imitates natural light, general dispersive light from the pendants, mood light from the linear wall sconces, direct light from the pendant above the table in the kitchen, table lamps and various wall sconces.
