Interior Design & Styling

The design for this apartment, intended for a young couple, takes shape from a well-organized starting interior distribution and a classic base, characterized by high ceilings and stucco that have been preserved. The main goal was to make the most of natural light, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere, enhanced by a base of light colors and vibrant touches.

At the entrance, a custom-made closet was made to optimize space in a smart way. This versatile solution has proven extremely useful on multiple occasions. In the bedroom, for example, a custom-made bridge closet was included to frame the bed, which is set against the backdrop of a Fornasetti wallpaper. The bathroom was designed with the goal of achieving a bright environment, with a shower placed in a niche corresponding to the window. The long, narrow geometry of the bathroom was balanced by the use of tiles in the shower area. In addition, a pivot door was chosen to optimize opening and facilitate movement within the space.

Details

The living area, on the other hand, harmoniously combines the living and dining areas, while the kitchen, although in a small space, is strategically located, in direct relation to the main room through an arched opening. A combination of different elements, details, and textiles make this space the heart of the house, and the whole is harmonized by a clear classic base and an Italian herringbone parquet floor.

Overall, the design for this small-scale apartment focuses on optimizing space, and the use of customized solutions gives it a unique character in a classic and welcoming setting.
“We are very comfortable in the new house. Every day when we enter we are really happy. We like to call it “the abode of light” because that’s what struck us the first time we walked in and what convinced us to buy it.

With respect to the project, and all the meetings together, the expectations have been met; in fact, we are even beyond that since we have succeeded in combining light with color. This aspect, in fact, is very important for our life and our everyday life; it is very nice when we return home and find a comfortable place that conveys protection and reflects our way of life.”
