At Archventil, we believe that design is never an isolated gesture.
It is connection: between space and people, between form and function, between emotion and experience.
An invisible thread that connects ideas, cultures and visions, creating new perspectives and possibilities.
We have always worked on these connections. Each of our projects is an interweaving of aesthetics and technique, innovation and tradition, material and meaning. For this reason, we decided to dedicate our space – Casa Archventil – not only to design, but also to encounter. A place where design enters into dialogue with other disciplines, from science to music, from art to medicine.
On the occasion of Fuorisalone 2025, which celebrates precisely the theme of Connections, we opened this new chapter with an event that is also a statement of intent: Dichotomies.

Dichotomies: our first event, a dialogue between design and opera
We chose to begin this new journey with a language that, like design, is capable of evoking deep emotions, telling stories and building sets that give shape to dreams: opera.
Thus was born Dicotomie, an immersive performance inspired by Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata, created in collaboration with FILRŌ opera production, an innovative reality that brings opera into unprecedented and contemporary contexts. For one night, Casa Archventil was transformed into the emotional universe of Violetta Valéry.
The rooms followed the narrative rhythm of the three acts: each room told a passage of the drama, and each element – furniture, lights, materials, clothes, music – took an active part in the narrative. The audience did not simply watch, but physically walked through the story, becoming a living part of it, in a setting to be experienced, not just observed.

Materials, light and sound: design becomes opera
Dichotomies came to life through collaboration with outstanding partners who translated the emotion of the work into matter, light and atmosphere.
JAB Anstoetz’s fabrics dressed scenes and bodies with sensuality, softness and drama: clothes designed to be seen, touched, experienced.
Lampex Italiana put light at the center of the story, with scenic and poetic chandeliers, customized by Archventil to accompany the most intense passages of the narrative.
The cipollino marble top made by Tecnograniti covered the kitchen island like a sculptural and vibrant element, becoming living matter in the heart of the scene. And at the moment of the famous toast, Santa Margherita and Casale del Giglio wines transformed each goblet into a symbolic gesture, amplifying the emotional power of the performance.
These protagonists were joined by brands such as Binova, Axolight, La Cividina, Saba, Miniforms, LiuJo Living, Ton, Muuto, Forbo, Garofoli, Rapsel, and Vola, along with artworks from the Peter Frey Gallery, in a choral and sensitive set-up, where each element contributed to building an immersive, coherent, emotional experience.

Archventil House: where design meets life
With Casa Archventil we want to give space to design that listens, that interprets, that builds bridges.
Each event will be an opportunity to investigate new forms of relationship between design and the world around us.
