Open space on two levels, bright and airy. High ceilings and equally high windows overlooking the courtyard make this space a kind of hidden stage. Simple forms combined
with vintage elements. White background, black lines penetrating and delimiting, but also wood color and deep green velvet color.
The open space offers a totally flexible space. A small, linear, wall-mounted kitchen in neutral tones integrates into the specially created niche. A 1960s bookcase made of wood and metal and
height-adjustable modules symbolically divides the two areas. The room is conceived as if it were a small café, with furniture also from the 1950s, a former restaurant table and a pair of chairs
designed by Carlo Ratti . The area is also defined by a pendant chandelier that penetrates the entire height of the space. Another chandelier, very similar, instead defines the
living area in which strong materials and colors prevail with prevalent use of the color green, see the painting and velvet armchairs. A very distinctive 1980s coffee table and the
animal-textured rug prepare the eye for the black-and-white image of the bedroom. The 1970s mirror reopens an eventual door while the light from the Murano glass lamp emits
a soft glow that warms the room.
The sleeping area is designed with small, compact objects, always playing on black and white, with brass or bronze inserts. The studio, compact and mobile, is set up with the Plato writing desk
designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli in 1968 , accompanied by a small chair with a typical rounded back that echoes the shape of the mirror in the room. The low bed was chosen keeping in mind the heights of the loft. A large walk-in closet completes the room.
